Hindustan (India) is the richest country in the world ! Wondering how?

Right now, Hindustan (India) is the richest country in the world ! Wondering how? It's really amazing.

(1) It's due to Mr. G Vaidyaraj, who donated all his wealth, about which he actually did not know.

He is a descendent of Raja Krishnadev Raya from Mysore district.

For the last 300 years or so, three stones were worshipped in his house. But nobody tried to see what it was, except this person, who is a lawyer by profession. One day, when there was nobody in his house, he took the stone out to see what it was that they worship. Due to the dust deposited on it, from many many years, it looked only like a simple stone. But when he touched it, some portion of the stone was cleansed. And he saw a bright ray of light. He saw something which attracted his attention. And he was amazed when he cleaned all of them. The whole room was filled with light. He discovered they were diamonds of about 4600 carats each. He informed the Govt. of India and the news is censored with its security. It's now deposited in a Swiss Bank. The cost of single diamond exceeds the GDP of USA + UK .

Even World Bank does not have enough money to buy it. India can buy virtually 7 developing nations. One diamond costs thrice the debt of World Bank over India .

One such diamond can buy 10 Bill Gates to you. And the World Bank has proposed the Indian Govt. that it can pay India in Installment if it wishes to do so.

India 's GDP is 34.25 billion dollars.

Bill Gates property is 95 billion dollars approximate so that is the way 'nature changes'.

Our Prime Minister has refused to sell it.

He said it will be sold or mortgaged for credit when we need it. Otherwise right now we have no problems.

You can go through Times of India with a small column on it a week ago.

Star TV presented a 115 min documentary on it about 15 days ago.

The Hindu with its half page article in it.

After that it was censored as classified.

(2) Another good news is that in the Desert of Thar a deposit of Oil and Natural gas have been found.. This stores what Kuwait has in its stomach.

India can go with this ONGC energy reserve with another 30 years. And moreover it can export it to other counties. It's incredible!! But true.

(3) An Indian boy in his 12th standard has disproved Einstein's 'Theory of Relativity'.
Shocked? Read on...

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-atomic particle, which can travel at speed greater than that of light, thereby challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the 'Theory of Relativity'.

In his recent research paper submitted to the Institute of Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste ( Italy ), Sudarshan has proved the existence of a class of sub-atomic particles called leptons', which can travel faster than light.

The international physics community is shocked by this discovery.

Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this to say about the paper submitted by Sudarshan. 'After long, careful and critical analysis, I can confidently say that Sudarshan's research papers show tremendous leap in our understanding of physics. His investigation
mounts up on 'leptons'... His work builds substantially on the work of Einstein and others in the field of relativity.'

When physicists from Princeton University tried to measure Sudarshan's IQ with an IQ-meter (at the American Embassy in Delhi ), the meter broke down.

Sudarshan, incidentally, is the brother of Madhu Reddy, the Indian whiz kid who developed an operating system superior to Microsoft Windows. We should all be very proud of these boys.

Please forward this email to as many Hindustanis (Indians) and also the Americans (Poor brains!!!) who think Hindustanis (Indians) are Poor !!! .....

State blamed for child abuse

Sept. 27: The social welfare department and the Thoothukudi district administration are blamed for their failure to monitor unrecognised child welfare homes despite repeated cases of child trafficking and child abuse being reported at several children’s homes in nearby Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts.

The malfunctioning of organisations like the El Shaddai orphanage at Sathankulam, where its director pastor Soundararajan, 56, and his two sons were found to have abused around 12 girls, has brought shame to social welfare activities, said Prof Fathima Babu, who works in the field of child and women’s welfare.

Had vigil over such homes been stepped up at least immediately after the child-trafficking racket at the children’s homes at Valliyoor in Tirunelveli a year ago, at Nallur, near Sucheendram, followed by two more cases of child abuse and trafficking at the children’s homes at Keelamanakudi and Marthandam in Kanyakumari, these 12 girls could have been saved, Prof Fathima Babu said.

According to the people of Maninagar, where El Shaddai orphanage is located, neither the police nor the social welfare department considered their complaints against the pastor and his sons seriously.

Reacting, collector G Prakash said a detailed profile of all welfare organisations and children’s homes and women’s homes in the district would be created with the help of the local police to enhance monitoring.

District social welfare officer Muthunayagam gave strict instructions to around 35 unrecognised homes among the 72 homes and child welfare organisations to immediately apply for recognition. Inspector Rajamani said following complaints from four girls, the children underwent medical check-up Monday. She stated that the second son of the accused would be nabbed soon.

The persecution of a man who committed the truth

gfiles focusses on the indomitable spirit of an upright individual who rose from the ranks of the Scheduled Castes to become an officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. A persistent exposer of wrongdoing since the start of his tenure in the early 199os, C Umashankar has run afoul of the state’s formidable DMK establishment and its bureaucrat apparatchiks. Not a single individual indicted by Umashankar in his various official probes has been brought to book; instead the book has been thrown at Umashankar who now faces not only vigilance inquiries and disqualification from promotion panels but also the charge that he faked his Scheduled Caste credentials.

Reproduced below is the unexpurgated version of Umashankar’s appeal to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes:

Complaint filed by C.Umashankar, IAS., against the State of Tamil Nadu

I WAS selected for appointment as an IAS officer by the Union Public Service Commission against SC quota and allotted to the Tamil Nadu cadre during 1990. I joined the Service on 20th August 1990.
I state that during 1995 I was working as Additional Collector (Development) and Project officer, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Madurai. There was misuse of funds allotted for construction of cremation sheds for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes under Jawahar Rozgar Yojana (JRY). I refused to obey the illegal order of the then District Collector, Madurai, Mr PR Sampath, IAS, to award the contract to a private contractor. A public interest litigation came to be filed in the Madras High Court. I filed an affidavit in the said writ petition narrating the true facts. A Division Bench of Madras High Court, accepting the affidavit filed by me, ordered a CBI inquiry in WP No 15929/1995. The real accused in the scam are yet to be punished.
During 1996, the DMK was voted to power. The Government appointed me as Joint Vigilance Commissioner to peruse the files pertaining to high-level corruption. I submitted several reports, including 1) South India Shipping Corporation Share disinvestment scam (loss of Rs 200 crore); 2) Granite quarry lease scam (loss of about Rs 1000 crore); 3) Allotment of plots and houses of Tamil Nadu Housing Board to fictitious persons (loss not estimated); 4) Purchase of 45,000 TV antennas and boosters without following tender procedure and without ascertaining the actual need; 5) Leasing of 20 acres of Coimbatore Medical College lands to Star hotel, club etc, in the name of women and child development at throwaway lease rent; 6) Fraudulent grant of patta for 7,106 acres forest land in Megamalai forest village, Madurai/Theni district to one family etc.
I indicted several senior IAS officers, including the ex-Chief Secretary, Mr N Narayanan, IAS, Thiru C Ramachandran, IAS, Dr S Narayan, IAS, Thiru Debandranath Sarangi, IAS, former Chief Minister, Ministers and others.
To my dismay I found that no worthwhile action was taken against highly influential officials who were deeply involved in the corruption. I therefore requested the government to relieve me from the post of Joint Vigilance Commissioner. During February 1999 I was appointed District Collector, Tiruvarur. I introduced e-governance in the district administration. This was the first of its kind in the whole of India.
Tiruvarur was rated 20 years ahead of the rest of India by a leading newspaper – The Times of India. The English weekly, The Week, in its millennium edition, chose me as the bureaucrat from all over India who can make the life of Indians better in the new millennium.
I submit that in the next general election, the DMK was defeated and the AIADMK came to power. I was sidelined and appointed Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, an ex-cadre post.
The DMK was voted to power again in May 2006. I was appointed Managing Director of ELCOT, a state-owned company. I introduced total transparency in the matter of award of contracts by introducing e-tender and also by introduction of a new method of tender evaluation by the bidding contractors themselves. I also introduced the use of large-scale free and open source software in government offices during this period.
WHILE I was working in ELCOT, twice I was called by Tmt Rajathi Ammal, wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, to her office at Alwarpet. I should have refused to meet her. However, by way of courtesy I met her in her office. She attempted to influence me to award contract to her men in the matter of purchase of 45,000 fishermen’s wireless sets. I told her that only through e-tender contracts are finalised and I should not be disturbed. I state that ELCOT along with another private limited company by the name of New Era Technologies Limited, controlled by one Thiagaraja Chettiar, floated a joint venture company named ELNET Technologies Limited. The share of ELCOT in the new company is 26%. The share of New EraTechnologies Limited is 24% and the remainder shares were subscribed by the public. This joint venture company, ELNET, floated a 100% subsidiary company named ETL Infrastructure Private Limited with intention of floating an Information Technology Park-cum-Special Economic Zone at Pallikaranai, Chennai. The company owns 26 acres of land which had been given IT Special Economic Zone status by the Government of India. The company built a 1.8 million square feet IT building in this IT Park-cum-SEZ. The total value of the asset is more than Rs 700 crore. The said company mysteriously disappeared from the control of ELNET and ELCOT obviously with the connivance of the former Chairman of ELCOT and political heavyweights. In my capacity as Managing Director, I was also the Chairman of ELNET. I wanted to probe the circumstances in which ELCOT and ELNET lost control of ETL Infrastructure Limited. I circulated a special resolution to be moved in the Annual General Body meeting of the shareholders of ELNET for removal of Unnamali Thiagarajan W/o Thiagaraja Chettiar from the office of Managing Director of ELNET. The Annual General Body meeting of the shareholders of ELNET was to be held on 30th July 2008.

I told the Hon’ble Chief Minister that I would not be able to work under Dr Chandramouli, IAS, against whom I had submitted a report on the mysterious disappearance of ETL Infrastructure Limited.

I also sent special reports to the government regarding the scam, namely the mysterious disappearance of ETL Infrastructure Limited worth more than Rs 700 crore. I wanted a probe into the role of Mr Vivek Harinarayanan, IAS, and Dr C Chandramouli, IAS.
I state while I was physically verifying and searching the records pertaining to the mysterious disappearance of ETL Infrastructure Limited in ELNET’s office on 28th July 2008, I received an order of transfer removing me from the post of MD, ELCOT, and posting me as Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TIIC). I have reason to believe that it was a fraudulent transfer. The order of transfer was passed adverse to public interest and to help the said Thiagaraja Chettiar. It is perceived that Mr MK Alagiri, Union Minister, was responsible for my abrupt transfer from ELCOT.
While I was working in TIIC, there was a feud between the Maran brothers who own the Sun TV television network and the family of Dr Kalaignar Karunanidhi, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The feud between the Maran brothers who have become very powerful and among the richest people in the country and MK Alagiri, the elder son of the Chief Minister, was well known. The burning of Dinakaran newspaper office at Madurai and hurling of petrol bombs and the death of three innocent persons in the murderous attack is also well known. I state that the Hon’ble Chief Minister called me and ordered me to accept assignment as Managing Director of Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited. I told the Hon’ble Chief Minister that I would not be able to work under Dr Chandramouli, IAS, against whom I had submitted a report on the mysterious disappearance of ETL Infrastructure limited and also pledging of ELCOT’s joint venture company – ELNET – to secure Rs 81-crore loan for the mysteriously disappeared company, namely ETL Infrastructure Limited. Dr Chandramouli, IAS, was transferred from the post of Information Technology Secretary-cum-Chairman of Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited and in his place Mr PWC Davidar, IAS, was appointed. My appointment as MD, Arasu Cable TV Corporation, was notified simultaneously on 30th October 2008.

The Chief Minister is vindictive against me because I recommended penal action against the Maran brothers and made public the scam in ETL where the hands of Mr MK Alagiri, a Central Minister of the DMK party, is involved.

I assumed office as MD, Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited, a government-owned company, on 3rd November 2008. I found that Sumangali Cable TV, controlled by the Maran brothers, was indulging in largescale destruction of optic fibre cable infrastructure of Arasu Cable TV Corporation. Sumangali Cable Vision was determined to ensure that their monopoly was maintained by all means. I brought to the notice of the government the criminal acts committed by Sumangali Cable Vision Limited and the involvement of Pongalur Palanichamy, a Minister in the State Cabinet in helping Sumangali Cable TV who destroyed the property of the government company. I sent several reports including proposals for arrest of the Maran brothers under the preventive detention laws and action under the penal laws.
I state that there was a settlement of the dispute between the Maran brothers and the family of Dr Kalignar Karunanidhi. As an officer of the All-India Service I pursued my job in right earnest and wanted the Maran brothers to be punished and Sumangali Cable TV to be nationalized. I state that I was shunted out of Arasu Cable TV Corporation and posted as Commissioner of Small Savings, an ex-cadre post. The Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited is now almost dead.
I state that the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Maran brothers became vengeful against me and wanted to disturb me. While working in TIIC I sent an intimation to the State government under Rule 4 (2)(b) of the All-India Service (Conduct) Rules, 1968, stating that my wife, Suryakala, MCom, BL, was employed in Tessolve Inc, Chennai branch, as HR Executive. She was working in that company from 1-4-2008 to 31-12-2008. Her gross salary was Rs 25,000 per month.
I state that the State government which was determined to throttle me at the behest of the Maran brothers issued a charge memo apropos my wife joining service in Tessolve Inc. The charge memo was issued to prevent empanelment of my name in the cadre of Joint Secretary to the Government of India. Because of this, I have been denied Joint Secretary empanelment during this year. I have been denied even a car loan and allotment of a housing plot by the government of Tamil Nadu.
I filed OA No 79 of 2010 on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai, and obtained a stay against the charge memo on 16th January 2010. I received a communication from the Chief Secretary to the government regarding my moveable and immoveable assets. I sent a reply dated 28-10-2009.
On 6-5-2010 a Deputy Superintendent of Police called me over phone and sought an appointment for conducting inquiries regarding my alleged assets disproportionate to my known sources of income. When I asked him under what authority he was asking me to answer his queries, he said he was so authorized by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. This led to my filing WP No 12274 of 2010 on the file of the High Court. The Hon’ble High Court was pleased to admit the writ petition and grant a stay.
I also filed WP No 15946 of 2010 questioning the Manual of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption under which the officers of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, namely police officers, conduct inquiries against All-India Service officers dehors the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Code of Criminal Procedure. It is my case that the State government is free to institute any disciplinary proceedings against me in accordance with the provisions of the All India Service Act, Public Servants Inquiries Act, the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Code of Criminal Procedure and the State government is not competent to conduct any inquiry against me without registering a case against me by the due process of law. The writ petition is pending adjudication.

The said company (ETL) mysteriously disappeared from the control of ELNET and ELCOT obviously with the connivance of the former Chairman of ELCOT and political heavyweights.

I state that the government of Tamil Nadu has passed GO Ms No 670, Public (Special A) department, dated 21-7-2010, suspending me from the service pending inquiry to scrutinize the genuineness of the Scheduled Caste community certificate produced by me.
I state that the government has also issued a press note on 23-7-2010 intimating to the press the cause of my suspension. I state that the law relating to caste certificates is settled. It is only the Committee which can go into the question of caste certificate.
I submitted the community certificate to the Union Public Service Commission. When the results of the All India Services examination was published by the UPSC, my name was withheld and placed in the provisional category pending verification of the community certificate. The certificate was duly verified and thereafter the result was published. I submit that the government has not taken any action against the corrupt bureaucrats. The State government is targeting me because I have been honest and sincere.
The State government has caused a publication in The New Indian Express dated 25-7-2010 titled “Umashankar did produce false community certificate”, stating that I have produced a false certificate. The newspaper report is engineered by the State government, the Maran brothers and the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption of Tamil Nadu. In WP No 15946 of 2010 I have alleged that one Mr Ram Mohan Rao, IAS, was found in possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The amount is said to be about Rs 81 crore. The government is protecting him. The government is protecting all corrupt officials and making use of them. The government does not want officers like me to serve the public.
I state that I am not claiming any special right. I can be charge sheeted under the All-India Services Act, Public Servants Inquiries Act , the Prevention of Corruption Act or under the penal laws if the government has credible information and materials against me. The government, through the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, has started a smear campaign against me by planting false stories as if I have produced a false certificate. I have come to know that the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is insisting that an FIR be filed against me. The State government, headed by the present Chief Minister, is intolerant and vindictive against me because I recommended penal action against the Maran brothers and made public the scam in ETL Infrastructure where the hands of Mr MK Alagiri, a Central Minister of the DMK party, is involved. Thus the State power is being misused against me.
I therefore request the Commission to protect me from illegal harassment by the Tamil Nadu government, the Chief Minister’s family and the powerful Maran brothers who are close to the Chief Minister.
Please ensure that inquiry, if any, regarding my caste certificate is conducted by the Central Vigilance Commission or CBI or any other Central agency not under the control of the State government.
Appropriate action may be initiated to allow me to work under the Central government or any agency of the Central government not under the control of the government of Tamil Nadu.
I also request you to ensure proper security for me and my family through Central security forces.
Dated the 26th July 2010 at Chennai.

No Such Number, No Such Zone - Spectrum a shame on UPA

The CBI raids the DoT, raising questions about the 2G spectrum allotment that A Raja would not like to answer, says SHANTANU GUHA RAY

THOSE IN the know in the Indian Capital call it “the little Gaza Strip”, a clear reference to the perennial tension and conflict that have plagued it for over a decade. Only, this particular area of strife is the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), whose offices in Delhi were raided recently by sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), over an alleged scam in the 2008 allotment of 2G spectrum. So used to discord are the boffins of the DoT that they were unruffled by the raid. In fact, many worked even as the CBI officials searched files in one of the floors.

Not without reason. A week later, Minister for Telecommunications Andimuthu Raja himself had managed a clean chit from no less a person than Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who told reporters that Raja was not an accused in the case.

Still, pieces of the controversy — which the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) calls India’s biggest scam, at Rs 60,000 crore — are now falling into place. Two of Raja’s confidants, Ashok Chandra (who until recently headed the wireless cell), and AK Srivastava (a deputy director of the same cell) were named initially by the CBI in its chargesheet, but then dropped. The CBI now claims it is investigating the accounts of some unknown DoT officials and unknown directors of companies like Swan, STel, Unitech, Datacom, Loop Telecom and Sistema Shyam Teleservices (which were awarded the 2G licenses in January last year).

Messy deal Telecom Minister A Raja says 2G spectrum decisions were cleared by the CCEA

Tough call CVC head Pratyush Sinha had asked the CBI to probe charges against DoT

Raja, after the shock of the raids, is back on his feet. His defence: he merely signed files and opened up the sector, as his predecessors had done. “I have had my share of controversies, but those were less than the ones in my seat before me. Please remember that the Cabinet cleared all the files pertaining to granting of 2G licences. The Prime Minister was kept in the loop throughout. All my predecessors followed the same procedure. So did I. In terms of legal norms, there is no deviation,” Raja told reporters in Delhi, after he had finished a marathon meeting with his confidants. In fact, some of his lobbyists— who were seen busy defending the minister on various television news shows— claimed that the minister’s decisions were based on approvals from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the watchdog, and had the sanctions of then Solicitor General, GE Vahanvati.

But what the apologists, and indeed Raja, skirted around was the fact that it was the PM who had in 2007— in a twopage letter — categorically asked Raja not to go ahead with cheap pricing and the first-come-first-serve model. Singh, in fact, was alerted about this by Law Minister HR Bhardwaj, who had also demanded a EGoM (empowered group of ministers) on the issue. Bhardwaj had also demanded that the country’s Attorney General should oversee the issue and give his remarks on the same. Furious at the demand, Raja had sent a strongly-worded letter to Singh, questioning Bhardwaj’s wisdom.

IRONICALLY, NO one — including Singh — is ready to now take on the minister who has DMK supremo K. Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi backing him. Still, DoT officials say there could be other uncomfortable questions for the minister when Parliament meets next month for the winter session, particularly the unceremonious exit of two competent bureaucrats. DoT officials told TEHELKA that the two, Joint Wireless Cell Advisor RJS Kushwaha and Deputy Wireless Advisor D Jha, were summarily removed after they put in writing their objection to the auction.

Officials of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) remain tightlipped on the issue but it is widely believed that these two officials were largely instrumental in tipping off the CVC (it alerted the CBI and pushed for the raids). Also upset about the minister’s arbitrary decision was the then telecom secretary, Siddhartha Behuria, who during his tenure had made his displeasure over the events public. But ironically, Behuria is not talking on the issue.

That the CBI will find it difficult to pin down Raja is clear. He is on the offensive and the PMO has gone silent on the controversy, though political observers say the raids – which had the support of Prithviraj Chauhan, the minister of state in the PMO — were a subtle move by the Congress to keep tacit pressure on its allies, the DMK and NCP (some party heavyweights are rumoured to be close to one of the companies that benefited from the auction). But the current mood within the party was to wait and watch. “It is still a puzzle as to why the raids took place and what the Congress wanted to achieve, apart from annoying a key coalition partner,” says a political observer.

The PM had asked Raja not to go with low pricing and the firstcome- first-serve model

There are others who, ignoring what Singh had actually said more than two years ago, are busy explaining that there was no ambiguity over the procedure and even in the subsequent resale by companies to make a windfall profit.

Those who alleged that Raja should have revised the 2001 recommendations for sale price of spectrum when it was finally allotted in 2008, were quickly silenced by Raja and his coterie (which includes an influential female lobbyist), who claimed that the TRAI did not back such a move. Raja’s men have also said that the TRAI had government backing when it said that government earnings need not be the only criterion for allotment. Ensuring low operating costs and a transparent and continued expansion of the sector would easily make up for initial losses. “We are still not convinced. The firms — after being allocated the spectrum — took on foreign partners through stake sales and reaped huge profits. This is India’s biggest scam,” top BJP leader and former telecom minister Arun Jaitley told the media.

But Raja blames it squarely on the market forces that decided such valuations against anticipated business revenues. “Why should I blame them if they want to offer a big price?” argued the minister on television, adding, “the sales were not a violation of FDI policy since approvals came from the Cabinet.”

With the TRAI silent, Raja and the PMO too are lying low. No one wants to debate the issue, considering that Raja continues to have the backing of the DMK leader and the Dravidian party is a Congress ally. So should the country’s “biggest scam” be ignored? Right now, it seems that all we are getting is a no reply.

Truly amazing, friends..............

42-year-old Philippe Croizon is the first man without arms and legs who could cross the 22-mile-wide (35,4 km) English Channel (French: la Manche) that separates England and France. Phileppe lost his arms and legs after a horrific incident 16 years ago. He had received a powerful electrical discharge of current while trying to fix a television antenna. Two years ago he was watching the documentary about the swimmers who were crossing the channel, when he decided that he was able to do the same. He started practicing 30 hours a week. And he succeeded. Wearing a special swimsuit he started his race the British port of Folkestone at 7.00 am, he finished the race at 9.13 pm in the French city of Wissant. Amazing.

God's delay is not a denial (good story)

Once there was a small kid on earth.

One fine day it came to know that god is distributing apples to humans in his place at heaven.

The kid was so happy to receive that news and it went with lot of enjoyment to heaven to get the apple from god.

There was a big queue standing to get apple from god and this kid also joined in that queue.

While it was standing, it was fully excited and thrilled for the fact that it is going to receive in person from god's hands. Its turn too came and the kid showed its both the hands to receive apple.

God gave the apple but unfortunately the tiny hands couldn't hold that big apple. Apple fell down and got wasted in mud.

The kid got so disappointed.

The ministers near the god informed that if the kid likes to have an apple from god again then it has to again follow the queue.

Having waited for so long the kid didn't want to return back to earth with empty hands so it decided to wait again in the queue.

This time the queue has become even longer than the previous one. While waiting in queue, the kid could see lot of people who returns back with apple in hands and utmost satisfaction on their faces.

The kid was so much disappointed and thought why me alone didn't get the apple in hand when all others were easily able to get it.

What is the sin I did that I alone should suffer like this. Now the kid was so scared that it should not miss the apple again. Again its turn came and god gave the apple to the kid's hands and after giving the apple god spoke to the kid.

"My dear child, last time after giving you the apple only I noticed the apple I gave to you was a rotten apple and that's why I made that to fell down from your hands. Having given you a rotten apple, I felt bad for you and I wanted to give you the best apple in the farm and that time the best apple in the farm was growing and that's why I made you to wait such a long time in the queue. Here it is. Now the apple that you have in hand is 'The Best' apple in the farm till to date. Enjoy."

So, friends, sometimes it happens as even after we put our 100% dedication and commitment things may get delayed or things may go wrong. Believe that god has something great for us and that's why this has happened. Always say, 'Gratitude is absolutely the best way to bring more in one's life'.

Believe this and see the world... Your world will also look green..

Regards,
shijit.

Congress knows how to stay in power - never mind who lives or dies....

Muslim vote at any cost
September 27, 2010 3:16:53 PM

A Surya Prakash

The Congress is now going all out to garner Muslim support. Though this process accelerated after the Lok Sabha election in 2004 — remember the Prime Minister’s outrageous and unconstitutional assertion that the Muslims have the first right on the nation’s resources and the appointment of the Sachar Committee? — the party is now giving fresh impetus to the cultivation of this minority vote-bank.

Three events in the recent past that are indicative of this trend are the party’s reluctance to defend former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao’s decision not to bring Uttar Pradesh under central rule prior to December 6, 1992; the deliberate omission of Rao’s name by Congress president Sonia Gandhi in her speech to mark the 125th anniversary of the party; and the despicable attempt by Mr Digvijay Singh, a general secretary of the party, to raise doubts about the Batla House encounter in 2008, in which Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma lost of life.

Obviously, the party is now so obsessed with the pursuit of this vote-bank that it is more than ready to debunk constitutional norms, truth and even national security. Taking the last event first, it is truly amazing how far politicians can go to harvest votes. The encounter took place when the Delhi Police acted on information that terrorists involved in the September 13, 2008, serial blasts in Delhi were holed up in an apartment in the Jamia Nagar area of the national capital. Two members of the Indian Mujahideen were killed in the encounter in which Inspector Sharma lost his life. A couple of suspects escaped. Ever since that encounter, leaders of the Congress have been promoting the theory that this was a ‘fake’ encounter. How a senior police officer can lose his life in a ‘fake’ encounter is another matter!

The Congress, however, has persistently encouraged such talk despite the fact that the National Human Rights Commission cleared the police action and Delhi’s Congress Government had itself decorated Inspector Sharma posthumously for gallantry. Ironically, even as Mr Digvijay Singh was on his cynical vote-bank yatra to Azamgarh, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror squad nabbed an IM terrorist. He has given his interrogators a detailed account of the encounter and told them that he and his associate fired on Inspector Sharma before escaping from Batla House that day. Given these facts, Mr Singh’s attempt to lend credence to the theory that the Balta House encounter was ‘fake’ borders on criminal misrepresentation of facts. If he carries on in this vein, he could well jeopardise national security and the safety of 1.1 billion citizens.

As regards the Congress’s attitude vis-à-vis the decisions of the Narasimha Rao Government in December, 1992, clearly there is an attempt to demonise him and to hold him responsible for the demolition of the structure that was known as the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The structure was demolished by kar sevaks mobilised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other Hindu organisations. Narasimha Rao was the Prime Minister and the Government in Uttar Pradesh was headed by Mr Kalyan Singh of the BJP.

Following the demolition of this structure, both the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party systematically targeted Rao and made him out to be the chief villain vis-à-vis the events of December 6, 1992. Even though the BJP was in power in the State and this Government had failed to live up to the solemn assurances given to the Union Government and the Supreme Court, these two parties held Rao and the Congress primarily responsible for the demolition. The Muslims fell for this argument and moved away from the Congress. The loss of Muslim support for the party was obvious in the Lok Sabha election held in 1996 and in subsequent elections to Parliament and the State legislature. Anxious to win back the Muslims, the Congress chose to tarnish the image of Rao when Parliament debated the Liberhan Commission report. Like its chief opponents in Uttar Pradesh, it took the position that the Government of the day had failed to intervene in time to prevent the demolition of the disputed structure. This line obviously suits the vote-bank politics pursued by the party, but it is far removed from the scheme envisaged by the Constitution and contrary to the opinion of the Sarkaria Commission on Centre-State relations and the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Bommai Case, which upheld Sarkaria’s views.

Rao told the Liberhan Commission that as the Governor of the State did not send any report about an imminent constitutional breakdown, the President could not act on mere hearsay or in a vacuum. Further, the “categorical assurance” of the State Government to the Union Government and the Supreme Court that it would protect the structure “weighed with my Government”. If he had dismissed the State Government on the ground that he did not have faith in the assurances given, the court could well have found fault with the action and declared it ‘unjustified’. The Sarkaria Commission, in fact, had said that Article 356 should be used to take remedial action in order to restore the constitutional machinery.

Since words such as ‘remedial’ and ‘restore’ were used, it clearly showed that this Article could not be used preventively or as a pre-emptive move.

The reasons given by Rao for not resorting to a pre-emptive strike against the Kalyan Singh Government is completely in line with the opinion of the Sarkaria Commission and the verdict of the Supreme Court in the Bommai Case. The court has said that it had the power to see whether the proclamation was based on any material and whether that material was relevant. Therefore, mere rumours, prejudices or heresay were not enough for such a drastic step in democracy. “Governments could not run on subjective mistrust of each other”, Rao had said.

However, since the Nehru-Gandhis have recklessly used Article 356 to settle political scores and to bring down non-Congress Governments, they are unaccustomed to such constitutional correctness. This is yet another reason why Rao is painted as the villain. Citizens who believe that the Government must work within Constitutional parameters will see merit in Rao’s arguments. Those who do no, like those who justify the fascist Emergency regime of 1975-77, will not.
