By using the term ‘saffron terror’, Chidambaram has directly targeted the Hindus.
Perhaps under the pressure from a Catholic Sonia Gandhi, the UPA Chair person and the guiding force of ruling Congress party in India to equate the uncontrollable Jihadi Islamic Force and the Separatist Christian-Maoist nexus with the right wing pro-active Hindu force in India, the Indian Home Minister P.C. Chidambaram gifted a new idea of SAFFRON TERRORISM amdist the celebration of Onam in South India. He was hinting about Malegaon and Samjhota blast where no evidences were proved so far against any Hindu Force in reality. Still warning that there has been no let-up in attempts to radicalise the youth, Home Minister P Chidambaram today said a new phenomenon of “saffron terrorism” has now come to the fore.
Inaugurating a conference of chiefs of police forces of the country, Chidambaram also expressed concern over the situation in Kashmir Valley and hoped that in the next few days, a “starting point” would be found to reach out to protestors and restart the process for a dialogue.
“There is no let-up in the attempts to radicalise young men and women in India. Besides, there is recently uncovered phenomenon of saffron terrorism that has been implicated in many bomb blasts of the past,” he said.
“When this Home Minister of India is completely failure to control over the Kashmir, North East and Maoist terrorists backed by Muslim and Christian fundamental force, he wanted to misguide the Indian mass by introducing such Utopian idea of Saffron Terrorism. P.C. should resign immediately as he cannot bypass the unreasonable imprisonment of Hindu saints like Sadhvi Pranjna or Swami Dayananda and the very belated arrest of PDF leader A.B. Naseer Madani, a notorious Muslim criminal of Coimbatore Blast”, a senior Hindu saint from Hanumangarhi Ayodhya expressed his reaction over the issue on line .
BJP hits out at Chidambaram’s ‘saffron terror’ remark
Reacting to the statement, BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said: “The country is witnessing a lot of chaos. Chidambaram needs an excuse to divert the attention of the nation.
“The government, led by Sonia Gandhi (United Progressive Alliance chairperson), Manmohan Singh (prime minister) and Chidambaram, has messed up on every front, whether it is international dialogue, disturbances in Kashmir, leftwing extremism or the Commonwealth Games.
“They are now trying to divert the attention of the nation,” he alleged.
Stating that terrorism was not linked to any religion, Rudy accused the government of targeting Hindus.
“Terrorism cannot be attached to any religion. Individuals may be terrorists,” he said. “By using the term ‘saffron terror’, he has directly targeted the Hindus. It is part of the government’s appeasement policy.”
The Hindu leaders from many corners of India narrated the matter as a gimmick to scape-goat the Hindu Force in the days of up-roar over the unforeseen situation in the pretext of the delivery of the Ramjanmabhoomi verdict by the designated court in Uttar Pradesh in the next month.
