Overseas friends of BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a direct successor of erstwhile Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS) founded in 1980. BJP is a major political party in India. The Bharatiya Jana Sangh was founded in 1951 by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, a nationalist leader, former Union Minister and freedom-fighter. The party advocates welfare social policies, self reliance, robust economic growth, foreign policy driven by a nationalist agenda, and strong national defense.

The BJP is pledged to build up India as a strong and prosperous nation, which is modern, progressive and enlightened in outlook and which proudly draws inspiration from India's ancient culture and values and thus is able to emerge as a great world power playing an effective role in the comity of Nations for the establishment of world peace and a just international order. The Party aims at establishing a democratic state which guarantees to all citizens irrespective of caste, creed or sex, political, social and economic justice, equality of opportunity and liberty of faith and expression. The Party shall bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established and to the principles of socialism, secularism and democracy and would uphold the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India.

The BJP stands for strong national defense, small government and free-market economic policies. Integral humanism has been its core philosophy and identity ever since its inception.

BJP beleives in the following

Food Security
Strong Economy
Employment Generation
Development To All
Border Security
Strong Military
Tough on Terrorism
Energy Security
Strong Society
Appeasement To None

The Congress Govt has let India down due to its weak actions in dealing with Terrorism.

NRI's have always given back to Mother India be it through official forums like Pravas Bharatiya Mantralaya or informally in individual or group capacities, NRI's have given back in one form or the other to India.

The unabated spate of Terrorist strikes against India pains NRIs more than anything else. Though, India is fighting a cold war with Pakistan backed Jihadi organizations, NRI's root for a strong and permanent response to such external threats.

The Congress Government is completely failed in its response to a horrific incident of the magnitude of 26/11.

Having seen how the US has successfully framed Laws and brought in a Homeland Security Department after Sept 11th, the NRI groups that support BJP feel that the NDA will be the ONLY real coalition which will make a sincere effort to build institutions and Laws that will safeguard India from external and insurgent threats.

NRI's who are making a living outside India and who support BJP cannot live in peace when their brethren are at risk. We want the Indian public to elect Shri. Advani as the PM and help the BJP lay the foundation for a SAFE and SECURE INDIA.

NRI's support BJP because BJP stands for Economic, political and internal security.

An Economist PM and FM couldnt predict the economic and financial downturn India is facing today. They claim that India is saved to a large extent due to INDIRA GANDHIs policy of Bank Nationalization.

ONLY A BJP Govt will guarantee a prosperous and efficient INDIA because BJP will evolve an INDIAN custom built ECONOMIC ORDER. INDIA will reclaim its spot in the world as a real economy only when the SWADESHI PRINCIPLES are married with a blend of the best principles from the outside India.

INDIA WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE MELTING POT OF SEVERAL CULTURES, ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES AND WILL BECOME A STRONG AND SECURE NATION only under the capable and experienced leadership of Shri. Advani and his impeccable team
